Nook remorse?
So in my effort to be cool and hip and modern (and to start treating books like I treat music), I picked up a Nook from Barnes & Noble. And a cool case and a light. Now, after the significant financial outlay, I need to figure out if I made a wise decision, so anyone who’s got experience with the various e-readers, let me know if I goofed.

I’m not fully experienced in e-reader geekery, as I don’t have one of my own (too poor), but I’ve played with the various types and I like the nook the best. It’s so clean and pretty looking and is the perfect size. I believe they’ve worked out the kinks as well, so the pages are turning at a nice rate now. I think you made a good choice!
When I have a day to myself I plan on researching the specs on each of the popular readers and posting a comparison analysis on my blog. I used to do it for Palm Pilots when I worked in medical marketing, so it should be nice and pretty and informative.
Still, good buy, I say!

I have the Kindle and I’m KICKING myself for not holding out for the Nook. You can borrow library e-books w/ the Nook! You can lend books out for 14 days to other Nook users. I think it’s a good investment.

I am enjoying my iPad reader. For $2-300 more dollars you get the reader and all of the other cool iPad stuff. Difficult to read outside…too much glare on screen. Books cost about $10. Many classics are free. Beautiful format.

Quick update — halfway through my first Nook book and totally digging it so far. I seem to be reading much faster for some reason (which may just be an e-reader thing in general, but the Nook is getting the credit).
