Not so phony
Reclusive author J.D. Salinger has begun legal proceedings to stop the publication of the “sequel” to Catcher in the Rye by a guy calling himself John David California. Salinger is now 90 (!), but ready to kick some ass. Three places to get a handle on the story include: The Guardian, The Telegraph (with pick of “California”), and The Wall Street Journal (checks in with a copyright lawyer).
