If you’re in Brooklyn and you’re in need of a new set of tights, a new cape, truth serum, or even x-ray vision, The Super Hero Supply Co. has you covered with all of the top brands. The New York Times City Room blog reports on the “front” for 826NYC, home of writing and tutoring programs for cool Brooklyn kids.

I went to the Pirate Supply Shop in SF and it was magical! Most magic of all were the kids in the back wholly engaged with living and loving all things lit, but we out front were having a wonderful time too. And then a crate of mop-heads were dropped from the ceiling onto my husband’s head and everyone in the store laughed at him, but luckily he has a sense of humour.

I have not been to any of the 826 shops/tutoring centers yet - much to my dismay. There is talk of getting an 826 center going here in Atlanta. I’m behind it 100%.
