I'd also note that Horn takes material that might be of limited interest to non-Jews, i.e. Yiddish folktales, the Talmud, etc. and presents it in a way that appeals to a much larger audience. A big fan of The World to Come, hearing Dara on a personal level further highlighted her talents as an author and Jewish expert. I think it's so cool that someone my age is so knowledgable in the Torah, talmud, yiddish folklore and then takes that knowledge and shares it through a fantastic novel. Dara - thanks for taking the interview and DJ Cayenne - thanks for doing the interview. Hey - that's an idea. Instead of the tv show - Behind the Actor's Studio, we could do a show - Behind the Writer's Curtain........ I just tuned in and read all three parts and loved them all.
