I’m cautiously optimistic that we can get our act together. That’s just me. We seem to be approaching a tipping point. We’ll see (obviously).

In other news, it was announced today that An Inconvenient Truth – the movie, was nominated for two Academy Awards (TM). I totally planned this post to coincide with the announcement. Totally.

See the movie! I watched in on New Years Eve (lame, I know), and before it was over I was ready to sell my 4Runner. The other reason to see it is to see the real, unfiltered Al Gore. I kept wanting to shout at the TV, “Where was this brilliant, charming, charismatic dude during the 2000 campaign!”

Not sure how much time we have left to slow down global warming. Permafrost melt in Siberia especially worries me … lots of CH4 will be released into the atmosphere as Siberia melts

The movie even comes in packaging that can be recycled!
