[...] After Nitro’s enthusiastic recommendation, I felt little choice but to run out and get a copy of Dara Horn’s The World to Come. If you’re a fan of Nicole Krauss and Jonathan Safran Foer, you need to sprint to your favorite bookseller and pick this up ASAP. Horn’s style, grace, and magical writing fits comfortably along side these literati, and she deserves to be as well known. [...]

You're right. New reading plan - less sleep, more caffeine.

And this is interesting: Amazon pairs this book with Special Topics.

Not a good idea when you're still in the first 90 days of a new job.
And I think I liked it so much because I had no preconceived notions since I had never even heard of the book before (unlike some other recent reads which I have yet to post on).

Wow. Great post. It bums me out though. I absolutely can not take on any more books, as I'm buried beneath a towering "to read" stack. This book sounds great though. This book and The End of Mr. Y seem like they have the best chance of jumping the line. Decisions. I think that I need to take a few days off and get caught up on my reading. I feel flu-like symptoms coming on.
