It was proposed that we come up with our own list of the Top 25 American Works of Fiction of the Past 25 Years, which will, of course, be much better than The Times’. To get the ball rolling, here’s your home work assignment. Look at your bookshelf and write down the best American Fiction that you’ve read since 1980.
