Dr J, I was out of town getting my Mardi Gras on. Weezie may have gone, but I doubt it. Don’t you have some old spelling buddies that you call upon for the scoop?

My sources tell me that the current-events word was “levee,” and that the word that separated the men from the boys in the last round was bodhran.

Weezie, here. No, I didn’t make it this year — out of town company wasn’t willing to go. Funny, I think I know what a bodhran is (an Irish drum?), but would have had no chance in hell of spelling it right.
